Meet Our Owner
Ellen Schrader, LVN, CCRC, President
“It is rewarding to see patients receive the benefits of a new medication before it is available to the public. It is equally as exciting to see the medications we have tested be approved and offered to the public.”
After over a decade of clinical trial experience, Ellen, along with a local doctor, opened QRI in 1996 and became sole owner in 2014. She has a degree in practical/vocational nursing from Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. She received her designation as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator in 1997 through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), where she continues to be an active member.
Robert Morin, Jr., MD, Principal Investigator
Dr. Morin has his Bachelor’s in Science from Pace University and his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Dr. Morin is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He has been with QRI since 2015.
Our Physician Assistant:
Darian Sparks” position=”PA-C
Darian has both is Bachelors of Science and his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and has NCCPA Physician Assistant National Certification. He has been with QRI since 2015.
Meet Our Staff
Michelle Davis” position=”BS, MA, CCRC Director of Operations
“After a career in education, working in clinical research is quite different! I absolutely love the public service element of what we do.”
Michelle has been with QRI since 2011, although she has made guest appearances since QRI’s creation. She has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Texas and an Master of Arts from George Washington University. She is also a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).
Chelsie Lopez” position=”AAMA, CRC
“Being the patient’s first point of contact is so important. I love getting to know all of our patients!”
Chelsie has been with QRI since 2013.She runs our front office and will be the first face you see here. She has an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting and is certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants.
