Meet Our Owner
“It is rewarding to see patients receive the benefits of a new medication before it is available to the public. It is equally as exciting to see the medications we have tested be approved and offered to the public.”
After over a decade of clinical trial experience, Ellen, along with Dr. Scott Horn, opened QRI in 1996. She has a degree in practical/vocational nursing from Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. She received her designation as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator in 1997 through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), where she continues to be an active member.
Dr. Morin has his Bachelor’s in Science from Pace University and his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Dr. Morin is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Our Physician Assistant:
Darian has both is Bachelors of Science and his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and has NCCPA Physician Assistant National Certification.

Michelle has been with QRI for 4 years, although she has made guest appearances since QRI’s creation. She has a B.S. from the University of Texas and an M.A. from George Washington University. She is also a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).

Mandy has been with QRI for 8 years. She is a graduate of the vocational nursing program from Galen College of Nursing. She is also a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).
“Being the patient’s first point of contact is so important. I love getting to know all of our patients!”
Chelsie runs our front office and will be the first face you see here. She has been with QRI since 2013. She has an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting and is certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants.

Margo is a recent graduate LVN from Galen College of Nursing. She is currently continuing her education at Galen College to receive an Associate’s Degree of Nursing so that she can become a Registered Nurse.
